Gallery For many butterfly and moth enthusiasts, an important goal is to capture images of the insects in the wild and the aim of this section of the web-site is to provide a space where members can share the results of their photographic endeavours. We would also like to be able eventually to show representative images of all of the butterflies occurring regularly in the region as well as at least a selection of the more common moths. Members are invited to send pictures they have taken to this link along with relevant details (species, location, date). As well as pictures of adult insects, images of other life stages are also welcome. Although, we are primarily interested in showing images of species normally occurring in our region, we may add an album of pictures of species from outside the region if such images are sent in. In such cases it is important that the place where the picture was taken is clearly indicated. Any images that are uploaded onto the web site will be credited and copyright for all pictures will remain with the originator of the image. In the viewer below, click on a thumbnail image in the row of images at the bottom in order to view a larger copy of the picture. Images are organised into albums by family and in order to access other albums, please click on the "change albums" button in the bottom right corner of the viewer. |
